Keyano Colleges Bridge to Employment program serves as a link between Oil Sands Companies and professionals seeking employment in the Fort McMurray area.Responsibilities:The responsibilities of the AutoCAD Drafter will include:*Interface with other engineering disciplines and projects teams by providing Computer Aided Designs support during the development of projects and to ensure that reliability and maintainability are inherent in all projectss stages addressing Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Control Systems.*Review project documents prior to issue for scope and presentation, including checking for technical accuracy and for compliance with applicable codes/standards.*Modification of SUNCOR Redline AutoCAD Documents.*Close interface with Document Control team to Design, maintain, update and modify AutoCAD drawings as required by Reliability Projects team.*Establish reliability goals and measure effectiveness of reliability programs.*Develop and review technical Drawings standards and report any deviations from SUNCOR and/or other applicable Standard.*Report the resultant proposals, conclusions and recommendations to the Reliability NPA Growth & Integration Manager.Qualifications:*Relevant Diploma or Bachelor Degree would be preferred*With 2-8 years on hand experience on AutoCAD Drafting for several engineering disciplines*With good working knowledge on SAP, AutoCAD xxxx, NFPA, ISA Symbols and other Codes and Standards preferably prevailing in the province of Alberta*Able to establish good working relationships and communication with colleges, area leads, department managers and clients.*Self-motivated professional designer with experience working on large industrial facilities in an EPCM environment.Please submit your current resume to (click to respond).
